VERTEBRATES


Vertebrates share some common characteristics:
  • They have an internal skeleton.
  • Their bodies are divided into parts: head, trunk and extremities (legs, wings, fins, tail)
  • Their nervous system and sense organs are very well-developed. Vertebrates use their senses to interact with their environment.
